The first of three weddings...

So Joseph's older sister got married this past weekend. Wow. It was beautiful. The whole family (cousins and all) owns a farm near Fayetteville, Tennessee and they recently renovated the house on the property and built a new barn. The wedding took place in the loft of the barn, and the reception was outside between the barn and the house.

We had a great weekend of family fun and enjoying time together. We started off Thursday night going to our favorite Mexican place in Huntsville, called Rosie's. yummy. Friday morning was the bridesmaids brunch with all the women in the family, then Friday night we had the rehearsal dinner at The Summit at Big Spring Park in downtown Huntsville. We had a great view of the sunset at the top of the bank where our dinner was.

Saturday started with getting showered, then heading up to the farm (about an hour drive) and getting ready there. We ended up doing the rehearsal before pictures, which ended up working well because we didn't have to drive up the night before. We did all of our pictures before the wedding, which I love! It makes after the wedding more fun because you can totally relax after the wedding is over.

Dresses! Love all of them!

The wedding was beautiful. It was very small and intimate, and the weather was perfect in the barn loft. There weren't decorations except for a few bouquets of flowers nailed to posts on either side of the middle aisle. Allison (Joseph's sister) wore a dress made of crocheted lace in ivory, and she looked beautiful!

We definitely had some awkward hand-holding going on in this one!

Cute on outside on the swing.

The reception was so much fun! We got to see so many friends and family members there. The band that Allison and Forrest hired was AMAZiNG! They played almost every type of music from Michael Jackson to the cha cha slide.

Allison and Forrest, we are so happy for both of you. We are excited that God brought you together, and we can't wait to spend more time with you as the years go on. Have so much fun on your honeymoon! We're jealous!
